PIECES OF ADVICE TO GET THROUGH ROUGH TIMES

“‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’”  – Jeremiah 29:11

A life without problems or trials is not a perfect life. It’s not a life at all. Experience is the best teacher, problems and roadblocks make a person better.

Whatever problem a person is experiencing no matter how big it is (depending on how they describe it) it causes a person a couple of things; DEPRESSION, ANXIETY, HOPELESSNESS. Often times these are enough reasons for a person to end their earthly lives. I surely hope not for you.

Here are pieces of advice to get you through tough times:

TACKLE YOUR PROBLEM HEAD ON

Don’t be a coward to the grave. Face your issues like David battled Goliath. Finger pointing and blaming others for your situation only makes it worse. Only in tackling your problems head on will you have a better understanding of it and form a battle plan.

THINK SIMPLY “AA” BATTERY

I’d like to call it this way because it’s catchy and it’s metaphorical. “AA” Accept and Asses. Acceptance of the situation will make you a lot more focused on solving the problem. Asses on what the severity of the situation and you’ll know which steps you’ll do in resolving it. These two things will power your  drive and confidence just like how a little “AA” sized battery powers a transistor radio.

SURROUND YOURSELF WITH YOUR FAMILY

Family by a wider definition is not just affinity by blood. You consider people a family if they have been with you, has been loyal to you and have helped you through so many time in your life. So, It just makes sense that your surround yourself by them so you can feed off their positive energy.

DO NOT BE AFRAID TO SEEK PROFESSIONAL HELP

There are people who have read a library and spent a lifetime studying how to help people in need. It is never a shameful act to go and ask for professional help when you are running out of breath.

Problems are natural parts of life. The most important thing is how an individual perceives it and learns from it.
